Nicole recommended this book at our first book club last week and after stating that it amusingly reminded her of me, I thought I'd better read it to see what she thinks of me! :)

Nicole was right, it is hilarious! Matthew describes his summer as an 8 year old boy living with his 6 brothers. In an attempt to channel some of their energy and hopefully teach them some work ethics, his parents buy some chickens and goats for the brothers to raise. The resulting antics and craziness are quite funny. And yes, Nicole, boys do act like this. I'll admit, my boys are slightly mellower (thank goodness!!) but all the same, they are still brothers and boys. (Now everyone may understand why my house looks the way it does :) )
