This is a different book. It takes place present day, however the plot changes to a real time in history of accusations, murder & mystery. Fun book, although the ending didn't have quite the "bang" I was hoping for.
I loved the history references and how the author really made them come alive. She really pulls you into both sides of the story--both modern-day and old time. I agree with what Laura said about the ending being not quite what I'd hoped for, but it's still a fun book :)
